Who can take part
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use SimpCity, the SimpCity forums, and this guide. Do not create an account, post, or share a login with anyone under that age.
One person, one account
Register a single account and keep the password to yourself. A second account used to evade a ban, a slow-mode, or a closed thread is treated as the same problem, not as a fresh start.
How to post
Stay in the right board
Requests go in the request boards. Lounge talk stays in general discussion. Staff notices stay in announcements. Account trouble goes to the Help Center or the forum’s own support area, not into a busy thread. The forums guide explains the split.
Search, then write
If a thread or weekly megathread already covers the topic, reply there. A duplicate title splits the answers and gets removed. An empty bump — a reply with nothing new — is the same kind of noise.
Titles have to say what the thread is
Use a plain description a stranger could search for. Misleading titles, tag spam, and all-caps shouting get edited or removed. One subject per thread.
No ads, scams, or password fishing
Do not promote unrelated services, sell accounts, or send people to a “verification” page. Staff will not ask for your password in a thread or in Telegram. Start from simpcity.school if you are unsure a link is real.
How to treat people
No harassment or doxxing
Threats, hate, pile-ons, and posting someone’s private personal information are not allowed. Argue the topic or leave the thread. Do not take a disagreement into Telegram to continue it.
Use the report tools
Report a rule-breaking post and move on. A public reply that only escalates the fight makes the thread worse. Moderators can see reports. They cannot read a complaint that was never filed.
Staff decisions stand until an appeal
A removed post or a limited account is not an invitation to repost the same thing. Use the appeal channel the notice names. Repeated evasion is its own violation.
