This site and the live boards are different
simpcity.school is the guide. It can explain the SimpCity forums, but it cannot reset a forum password by itself. Accounts live on the boards at simpcity.cr. Always begin at the SimpCity forums home and use Open SimpCity Forums so you are not following an outdated bookmark.
Which button do I want?
Green opens the main SimpCity forums. Red opens the private members area. Blue opens the Telegram path. If you are trying to register or recover a login, use the green button. The members area expects an account that already works.
Registration problems
The form will not submit
Reload once, then try a private window. Content blockers and old cookies are the usual cause when the button does nothing. Disable the blocker for the forum page only, complete registration, and turn it back on afterward if you want.
No confirmation message arrived
Check spam, promotions, and any filter that hides automated mail. Wait a few minutes before you request another message. Do not create a second username while you wait. If the forum lets you resend, use that control once, from the same browser you registered in.
The username is rejected
Someone else already has it, or it includes characters the forum does not allow. Pick a different name. The login name and a public display name are not always the same field — use the login name when you come back tomorrow.
Login problems
The password used to work
Retype it slowly. Check caps lock and any extra space the phone keyboard added. If a password manager filled an old password, reveal the field and compare it with the one you stored when you joined the SimpCity forums. Then use the forum’s own reset tool rather than guessing.
I get bounced back to the login page
Clear the site cookies for the forum, close the extra tabs, and sign in once in a private window. A half-loaded session from an old address often causes a loop. Starting again from simpcity.school avoids that loop.
The account says it is limited
Read the forum rules and any staff message in your inbox on the forum. Creating another account to get around a limit usually extends the problem. If the notice explains an appeal path, use that path and include the username, not a screenshot of your password.
Finding your way after you are in
I do not know where to post
Announcements are for staff. Lounge and introductions are for general talk. Requests belong in the request boards, preferably inside the pinned megathread. Login questions stay in help, not in the lounge. The forums guide walks through that choice.
Search returns nothing
Shorten the query to the one word that would be in a title. Try an alternate spelling. Sort by most recent, then by oldest. Check pinned threads manually — some megathreads are long enough that a single reply is easy to miss.
An old link is dead
Forum addresses change. Treat simpcity.school as the stable front door and simpcity.cr as the live SimpCity forums. Re-open the boards from this site, then search the thread title instead of trusting the old URL.
Still stuck
Read the matching question in the FAQ. If the issue is about behavior rather than access, the answer is probably in the rules, not in a technical reset. For anything that happens after you are inside the live boards, use the support options shown there — this guide cannot see your forum account.
